The heart of the Glass Studio is the melting pot which holds the liquid glass mass. The glass as material provides new possibilities and new challenges constantly. Time and repetition are needed to create a finished product.

It is the heat and the glowing mass that creates magic, the possibilities for your creation are lying ahead of you. It’s an intense work. You have to endure failure and try to understand the glass, to succeed. I have a strong desire to express my creativity through my glass work, this is my voice in the world.I have a strong interest for and get inspired by nature and wildlife. The strong emotions I have for untouched nature is something I wish to convey through the glass I present in my workshop.

The past year I have been working with the concept of the River. I have been exploring the theme of water in motion, creeping around the rocks in the river. I have been working to visualize flowing water and exploring the combination of Clear Glass and stone. I have developed the ‘Clear Water’ series, of sculptural lying vases, and glass vases melted over round river stones.
